About Dr. James
Garland James, MMS, PA-C, grew up in Missouri City, Texas. She attended Wiley College in Marshall, Texas where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology.
Garland then went on to obtain her Master of Medical Sciences in Physician Assistant studies from the University of Tennessee in Memphis, 2019.
She joined the Texas Skin Center team in 2022 as a Physician Assistant where she practices both medical and cosmetic dermatology while specializing in hair loss.
She is certified by the National Commission of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Texas Medical Board. Garland is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants , Skin of Color Society and American Academy of Physician Assistants.
